4.9 / 137 Google reviews ↗After having another large, well known, HVAC company tell us our AC needed replacing for around $25-30K, I called Air Tech in Cary. They came out, spent time listening and checking the unit, only to say it did not need replacing and didn't even charge us a service charge. Rest assured, if anything goes out on this AC or our furnace, Air Tech is the first business we will call!
Kyle and Dan did an outstanding job installing a new furnace and air conditioning system in my home. They were hard working, friendly and professional and explained everything thoroughly. I highly recommend them for all your HVAC needs, they’re fantastic. Thanks, guys!
Bob and Dan from Air-Tech Services are simply the best in the business. They are honest, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. They came out, serviced our furnace, and got it back up and running. This weekend our furnace went out, and after many consultations and talks about replacing the unit, I called Bob, and he was honest and told me exactly what the problem was. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bob and Dan, and I highly recommend them for all your HVAC needs!
Been dealing with Bob and Air-Tech since 1997. From the initial AC install then to a complete HVAC replacement in 2021 and any maintenance/repairs in between I couldn't get anything better. Great service and prices and no BS. Would highly recommend!
If I give them 10 Stars I would. We spent over 3 years without AC. I called all these so-called "Big Boy" operations, they didn't want to help and all they wanted to do was take us to the bank! And it was nothing but one lie after another and it can make a person cry at times. Air Tech Servivces was named through a gentleman that's friends with my husband at work and low and behold an angel appeared, literally. I can't thank this company enough! It just goes to show you that there are still great companies out here and you don't need those big companies. Those "Big Boy" companies weren't going to do us right, and Ait Tech went above and beyond! Thank you, thank you. 💕

Good questions.
Plain answers.
From Air-tech’s own FAQ. The details worth knowing before you pick up the phone.
PHOTO FROM AIR-TECH SERVICES’ WEBSITEShould I run the A/C when nobody is home?
There's no need to blast the AC at full tilt while you're at work. Setting a temperature that is a few degrees warmer in an empty house will allow your system to run less, and still be able to recover in the evening before you return. We install programmable thermostats and smart thermostats that can be accessed remotely and can adjust as your day adjusts.
How long will it take to install my system?
Each installation is unique and we don't push overstock equipment. We schedule work to be performed with as little disruption as possible, especially if there are extreme environmental conditions during a system down situation. We will discuss particular installation details and expectations when we provide a quote so that you know what to expect.
Does my quote include removal and taxes?
All taxes, environmental fees, labor, materials, and equipment charges will be included. We discuss beforehand what situations for additional work exist and under what conditions the extra work would be recommended. Our quotes are complete for all the work we perform and will outline any contingencies. No gimmicks or surprises.
Is Air-tech licensed?
Air-tech is licensed and bonded. We have been in business since 1988 and plan to continue being a responsible part of the local community where we live and work.
When should I have my furnace checked?
The best time to have your furnace checked is before you need to use it. A system check-up before the cool nights that can roll into McHenry County towards the end of August or early September checks the burner assembly, ignitor, belts, valves, and other components. It also checks your heat exchanger to make sure there are no harmful carbon monoxide leaks.
Can I close registers in unused rooms?
